If you love teaching young children and plan to make it your career, you need the CCP!

The CCP Process

The Certified Childcare Professional credential authenticates your teaching skills and professionalism. This is especially valuable for teachers who have not completed a college degree or whose degree is in another field.  In preparation for the CCP, you can register for the QUICK START Program.   If you register for the QUICK START Program, you will receive a CCP Training Tracker to begin tracking past and future education and training in preparation for full enrollment in the CCP.  Click here for a QUICK START registration form.

When you earn the CCP credential, you'll have developed new abilities, you'll find that managing your classroom is easier and more fun, and you'll have a sense of accomplishment and pride. And best of all . . . you'll be in demand! Great teachers are hard to find!

The fee for the CCP is $495. This fee includes the services of a mentor (your Field Counselor).

CCP Renewal Instructions
Please download and complete the CCP Renewal Form. Fax or mail the form to the NCCA office. Please include a check, money order, or credit card information for $25.00 and proof of 20 training hours completed in the past two years. Please also include a copy of your most recent CCP certificate.
